Well, according to my annoyingly accurate and detailed spreadsheet, I need to write 5.4k per day for the rest of May to win MayNoWriMo. My solution? I'm going to attempt a 10k day tomorrow.
Not in five hours, though.

I love June so far. 1 day of writing, 2.5k of draft + another 1k or so of planning.
Wait, what? Planning?

I hope you do good at planning and writing the drafts for your novel Siana, and good luck on reaching your word count for writing your novel too!

Starburn is back and this time he brought company. At least, I think he's back. I seem to have a new visitor in the form of Rebecca Winters, who hates being called Becky. It's either Rebecca or Bec...

I keep imagining trying to introduce one of my characters into the roleplay and thinking it probably wouldn't be pretty. Zaraine (MFC this month) would just be sitting in a corner curled up in a ball and trying to pretend all these strange, loud people don't exist. Then they'd start poking her or something and she has this alarming tendency to create electricity when she's upset.
Then there's Dargor (aka Dragon Hunter or just Hunter), Zaraine's love interest. He was introduced as spy, assassin, historian and magician. He's got a short temper and doesn't really like people in the first place, so he'd just be grumpy and not want to talk to anyone.
Some time I need a friendly, fun-loving main character...

But friendly, fun-loving characters aren't as interesting to write, are they Siana? lol.
Mine are fun-loving and friendly ---- until they get stressed. then they turn psychotic. And try to kill me. by throwing things at my head. -.- I'd trade you an a**inine friendly and fun-loving for a dangerous anti-social character, any day. lol. at least I'd be expecting the vase when it's flung with the force of a wrecking ball.

Yes, I love my messed up characters Starburn is starting to worry me, though. Is it just me being paranoid or does he sound too perfect. Why is he so darn interested in making sure Bec finishes her story? How does he know exactly how to encourage her without it seeming like he's doing it? You've got a dark side, Starburn. What are you hiding?

Wow, I haven't been here in ages. I (totally unjustifiably) blame Starburn, who got me to 65k in JulNo and then told me I did his story all wrong. Actually, it was Bec who complained, but Starburn backed her up. It turns out he always backs her up... I think, anyway. There's going to be an actual love triangle involved in the rewrite. Wait, rewrite? Er... not right now, guys. I'm busy with AugNo. The characters this month seem to think I should do at least 50k each on their stories. Not sure about this 100k in a month business... Anyway, just another quick dose of Siana Blackwood's insanity .

... and now in view of the fact that I want more people to talk to online, I really should post something. Brief synopses of the things I'm working on in August, maybe... except that I haven't got any written. The very quick answer is How to Nuke Your Enemies (action/sci-fi), Crystals and Moonlight (sci-fi/fantasy), and that rewrite of Broken Mirror (sci-fi/fantasy). I don't think I'll get any of them finished this month, but that's okay. I can always continue into September and even October.

I may be afraid to read over this thread, but I'm continuing it because otherwise I'd have to think of a whole new title, add an intro and all kinds of other things. That may happen later, but not today. Anyway, hello. Last year I wrote a million words and 12 first drafts. Everything else in my intro on page one is still true. Apparently I haven't changed much. Oh, and page one introduces Oskar . I'm writing about him again this month.
