Yup. I was reading through a binder of old story ideas and out comes the soon-to-be Finding Seraphas (working title). I'm debating whether I want to write it, or Alpha first. Basically, it's between epic fantasy vs. urban fantasy.

Fun  And I think you shoudl write Alpha first, since you've already started it, and FS you haven't, so you'd have to develp the story |

True. I did start some character development/worldbuilding for FS the other night 'cuz I was bored, though. Alpha's going to need a serious overhall, rewriting, re-outlining, etc. to get it ready to actually write (guess I know what I'm doing this summer). |

Good Luck on your character development and outlining and writing your novel to reach your word count Austine.
I hope you update your PPT some more because I would love to know more updates about your novel and how far you in your novel, so good luck and I hope you have fun writing your novel for to be done with your word count Austine!

Thanks!  I'll try to update more. I keep forgetting I can update on her as well as my blog (which is where I usually post my novel updates). It just slips my mind (like most things). Well, while I'm at it.... Chosen:Wordcount: 93,493 Completed Chapters: 27 Goal: Finish novel by the end of May If anyone would like to be a beta reader (on a chapter-by-chapter basis starting at chap. 28) let me know. I have a short questionnaire for you to fill out if you do want to read Chosen (writing a novel is my graduation project and the questions are part of it--like what you liked, didn't like, comments; that sort of thing). I love your novel of the chapters you have so far, that you sent to my email Austine the chapters to your novel are pretty good except for the words I reply to you about! But anyways good job on your novel and keep up the good work on your novel and reaching your word count too Austine!

Yesh. Well lets see. I figured I might as well post another update while I'm on. Chosen is almost complete. I'm planning on finishing chapter 29 (of like 31, 32) today. I'm already behind on Valkyrie (by about 3-4 pages) but I think I'll be able to catch up in the next week or so. The only other thing I can think of is that I danced around my room, despite being sick, after I checked and found out my novel is going to be over 400 pages long (in novel form). OMG. That, and 'm almost to 100k, which is the most I've ever written. Okay, that's all. |

Chosen's getting there. I reordered the chapters to date so it wasn't like Rayne Rayne Rayne..... for 6-7 chapters, then the same thing with Lea. None of the writing changed, though. UPDATES: Chosen's still at chapter 29 (small case of writer's block and this thing called calc homework) Valkyrie is WAY behind for Script Frenzy so I'm putting that at the forefront so I can catch up (hopefully). |

Yeah, that was the plan, but then I started working on Valkyrie and everything was going pretty well and then.... *dun dun DUN* writer's block. So now I'm back to Chosen again. Chap. 29's done (finished it today) and only 4 chapters to go (I can't WAIT until this novel is done--well, draft 1, though editing this monstrosity is going to be fuuunnnn......). It's currently 340 pages, DS, Time 12. Almost 100k too!!!!
