I didn't get around to doing a christmas hello, so a belated merry christmas, everybody, and an early new year! I'm writing a short story about a guy who's dying, so please HS gang, please keep me writing tomorrow!! I'm not going to any movies then (like today, seeing Trom, just got back) so I should be able to do this. And we are finally getting our christmas snow, just 3 days too late. It's 5 inches deep, and with big fluffly flakes, and such things. It is cold!! And when we got out of the movie threatre, the cars were covered in snow! Good things for scrapers or whatever they're called

Happy New Years, Everybody! It is 2011 for almost everybody now! Writing wise, I want to finish 12 books this year, and edit about half of them. I want to write 1 million words. I want to get a lot of points for the romance genre for the Genre Cup. I want to create plots for the 44 titles that I have left that I adopted or created to be adopted and liked to much to give up. I want to write my first collab, finish my first short story. I want to try to plot out a novel from beginning to end before writing it. I want to venture into other genres. I want to finish at least 6 of my WIP's, and start less then 10 new ones until I have these WIP's done. But that's not likely to happen, I like starting new stories Not sure how many of these goals I'm going to get, but I am going to try for them! Also: Poems for January: 1Hush a bye now Don’t you say a word now Everything will be (just be) 2.Never the same way Always repeating and such Different again 3.The air rushes in Sound of small noses Then comes out 4.Cute as a dog Rambunctious as a puppy But I love you ever (even when you annoy me, silly doggies!) 5.Read days away The pages fly, I feel alive And then I’m done (again) They are either haikus, or free verse. But they are for points! Yep, Happy New Years, Everybody!

Here are some new plots created for adopted titles: Abyss Gazing and Monster Slaying for Fun: The graves are always dug a certain way, a certain dept, so that there contents never get out. And there’s a good reason for that-for they kill the monsters, and sometimes, the monsters don’t stay dead. You have to be careful, so taht you don’t end up with some zombie monsters running around, worst then the orginal monster. Me? My job, it’s to kill and bury these suckers. Better be careful what you do, monsters, or you’ll have to anwser to me! Lillies in the Field: She likes the smell of the flowers. Especially the lillies. But one day while in the field, she comes across a dead girl-who’s name was Lilly. And then other girls with flower names get found in their flower name. And her name is Danielle, which people could assosite with dandilions. And is she the next victim? Satisfactory Civility: A divoice should have an amount of civilty, and as a divoice expert, Josahine knows this, having divorced 6 times. So when the last marrige starts to get violent, she starts to get afraid. How far will she go to protect herself?

There are I think 43 titles that I still have to come up with. It's going to take a looooooong time! Why did I adopt so many titles?

And here is my plan of novels I'm starting this year, wow, it's long in lenght, but short in amount of titles! January: Love the One You’re With: A female human is on a large spaceship that crashes, and she and one alien are the only survivors (a deserted island scenario). They have a translator ear piece that helps them understand other alien languages, but it gets broken, so they can't understand one another. It's difficult to read their expressions (laughter, tears, etc) because they vary from species to species. After a while, they each get lonely and develop a silent love affair. The woman gets pregnant, but their genes aren't compatible and she loses the baby. The alien doesn't understand what's happening and wonders if human children gestate underground, like a plant. Eventually they get rescued, though the alien fights because he doesn't want to leave their baby behind. They're given translator chips, and they finally start to get to know each other. It's odd as they realize the other person isn't quite what they expected. The woman has to tell the alien that their child is dead. February: Child of the Heavens: The child of 2 angels is taken from heaven. She grows up in a small town. Slowly, she discovers her powers, and is conflicted with staying on Earth or going “home” March: Whatever is done by this point, SC April: Bong Girl: A group of guys who grew up together go to college where they end up dating countless girls. The thing is once the girl is with one guy (and they sleep together) she seems to end up dating one more of his friends. The guys refer to these girls as bong girls. Reason why is because they hit it and pass it to their friend just like they would a bong (they were all pot heads) There were lots of drama considering that some of the girls went back to the former fling. May: Killer Road Trip: MC is a thirteen year old (undiagnosed/diagnosed) psychopath who is kidnapped for ransom- and they go on a car trip from the police to their safe house where they can hide from the law. The MC doesn't really care, since she felt bored anyway, so she went along with her three kidnappers, which she deems Idiot 1, 2, and 3. Idiot 1 is the worrying, serious criminal who is always anxious about being caught, Idiot 2 is the seemingly carefree junky who finds humor in everything, Idiot 3 is seemingly a dud with no personality who sleeps all the time- but turns out to be a professional gunman and very serious criminal. Most of the story is the trip and the cunning used by the MC to assist the three kidnappers in getting out of touchy situations. But eventually the MC tires of them and decides to head home. Through a good amount of cunning, she sets them up to be killed one by one- going by number 1, 2, and 3. Idiot 3 ends up being the hardest challenge, but in the end it becomes apparent that Idiot 3 does have at least somewhat of a heart while the psychopathic MC has none, and he is killed off. The story would end with the MC leaving a message on her home phone saying "I'm done here, and I'm on my way home." June: Where it All Ends Up: It's during the civil war and Scott goes off to fight (for whichever side you want), leaving his sweetheart, Sophie, behind. He expects to come home after the war to marry her, but that's not how it works out. She marries a very influential (read: rich) man in the North/South (whichever your story supports) instead while he's off fighting. He doesn't hear about this from her, but from fellow soldiers who read it in the newspaper. Angry and hurt, he goes and gets himself killed in battle. But little did he know that it was an arranged marriage. Sophie's father gambled a lot, so her mother married her off to the richest man she could find to ensure that the family wouldn't fall to ruin. Sophie's husband turns out to secretly be an abusive drunk; to society he's all respectability, but at home he drinks himself senseless and beats Sophie. He beats her half to death one night, when she finally gets fed up and runs away. But her eyes are so swollen from his beatings that she falls into a river/lake and drowns. July: What Happened Then, Happens Now: FMC and her mother have just moved into a new house, in a small, remote town in the middle of no where. On the way into town, FMC saw a statute erected in the center of town, dedicated to the 'thousands who lost their lives.' FMC, however, pays no attention until she goes into the attic of her new house and notices a trunk that wasn't their before. There are initials engraved on the trunk. She opens the trunk, and amid the (I chose 30s, but it can be any era) clothing, she finds a journal. Inside the journal, a teenage girl, about the FMCs age, details her daily life, which all seems normal except for seeing odd black shadows in the corner of her eye. Otherwise, life is normal until she mentions her best friend blew off her, and their boyfriends, and was then seen walking down the street. However, her best friend has no recollection. Four days later, her best friend is dead, and more and more people are beginning to forget. Soon, her mother is ill and the black shadows are becoming more and more frequent. Half the town is falling ill, screams rock the night, and people are dying left and right. The journal ends with the young girl saying the Mayor has quarantined the town, and that the darkness and pain is overpowering, then she trails off. The FMC closes the book and shivers, then goes downstairs to Google the name of the girl in the diary. A link shows her a website dedicated to the story of "Jasey Rae Jackson (this was the name I chose for the girl in the diary)" and how a mysterious disease began with her best friend, and wiped out 80% of the towns population, before ending with Jasey herself. As the FMC brushes it off, she begins to see similar dark shadows in the corner of her eye, and wonders how much of Jasey's story was true, and what will happen now she's experiencing the same thing that teenage girl did decade earlier.... I happened to leave off with my FMC (Annie) seeing shadows in the corners of her eyes. August: Prove His Existence: Just because God fell in love with Virgin Mary, doesn't mean that it can't happen again. FMC doesn't know that she is the sister of Jesus Christ himself, with her own father being God. Problem is, FMC doesn't know God is her father, and in fact, she doesn't even believe in God. Her mother has always tried to convince her that there is a God, but she won't believe her, and won't believe that the things she can do have anything to do with it. Of course, her powers aren't exactly "extraordinary" either. FMC falls in love with MMC, a roustabout type of boy, who loves to bend the rules and play his guitar, riding around on his motorcycle. MMC knows that FMC is different, not because of his love for her, but because she has a certain glow, and he sings a song to her about the love of God, which makes FMC rethink her father, and whether she could ever be related to a man she never knew existed. September: Peaceful Death: Peace has ruled the world of Lednik for too long. The gods realize that soon, there won't be enough souls to fit into every human body that will be born. The only way to compensate this would be if more people die, so there will be more souls one can recycle. Six of the seven gods meet and work out a plan. They would allow fifteen people to return from the dead and give them one order: Kill as many people as possible. Especially pregnant women, babies and children, because they have a more "pure" soul. To ensure their survival, the gods would give them magical powers. Three are allowed to control the fire, another three control the water, others control the earth, the air, and the lightning. The seventh god, however, opposes to this idea. So he decides to descend to the earth and stop the destruction. Write this story from three perspectives: The opposing seventh god, one earth-mage who decides to betray his fellow friends and joins sides with the seventh god, and one fire-mage, whose task it is to bring down the betrayer. October, GothNo: Changed Rules: part of life’s game series. Girl in college, goes to a party, then wakes up a vampire, and has to be taught the rules by a member of the council and they fall in love. October, SciFi: Genetic Mess-Up: Setting: 75 years in the future, Industrial countries (US, China, etc.) Today, geneticists are experimenting with gene therapy (changing ones genes to get rid of genetic disorders) and are having some success. However, no one really knows how this will effect the patient's decedents. In the future, due to today's economic recession, and only the rich being able to afford gene therapy, there is a huge gap between classes. People are either super wealthy or barely low-middle class. This puts a lot of strain on the government system (for a democracy to work, you really need to have the majority of people being in middle-middle class) and there is a ton of corruption that allows the wealthy to get away with murder--literally. The "unknown effects" of gene therapy have finally come forth. The new generation is the grandchildren of the first group of super wealthy people to go through gene therapy, and there is something definitely wrong with them... The PEG1/'Mest' gene (or the gene that makes you crave human flesh) is becoming 'activated' in a few of these people. This doesn't make them ZOMBIES in any way...they just crave human flesh. Because of the huge separation of class, the new generation knows that they will probably not get caught if they only ate the poor. The lower class people start noticing an increase in 'crime' but the media tries to cover up what's really going on. FMC is can be a cannibal who doesn't understand why she has these horrible cravings and struggles to deal with guilt. MMC can be a lower class citizen who works as a servant for a wealthy family and helps his boss's daughter hide her cannibal craving from MMC's boss. MMC could either trick people into visiting him so that FMC can eat them, or MC can just clean up after the mess. November: Alone I Am Not: A smart, level-headed young woman, straight out of college with some ridiculous science degree - like nuclear fission or something - buys an old Victorian house in seriously good condition for seriously cheap in the town of the grad school she's attending. The place has been abandoned for a long time and everyone in town thinks she's crazy for buying because - duh - it's haunted! The ghost is a sullen pissed off male around the MC's age who's determined to keep the house for himself. He tries to scare her away, but our MC is an unflappable scientist who is equally determined to stay because she got a seriously good deal on it and it's not like anyone would buy it if she sold it anyway. Thus ensues a battle of wills between the ghost and the young woman, not helped buy a crazy guy in town who's obsessed with ghosts, but too chicken to break into the house by himself. So naturally he befriends the MC immediately to gain access to the ghost who is less than amused by him. December: WIP’s

Short Story called Call of Death: Together they throw the dirt, listen to its plunk against wood, a sound so unlike anything else in the world, one you could remember forever. I watched from far away-I wouldn’t be welcome here. And why the heck would you want to? A voice said snidely, and I relished the pain that the voice brought. I would want to, I thought calmly to myself, because I’m the reason that she’s dead. Let me clarify-I’m the one that killed her. Get over your shock that you’re talking to a real life killer. I’m nothing much. Just your average Jane serial killer, killing people who are associated with a bad memory from my childhood. I had finally gotten down to the point, and killed the one that started it all. Yep, the woman that they were burying, that was my mother. And I’d killed her. And she deserved it. I did not feel one inch of guilt. Yes you do, the voice said, it eats you up inside. Don’t try to deny it. I live inside you-you can’t keep a secret from me. Oh. Did I forget to mention, the voice? Yeah, that was my mom’s. She just wanted me to feel pain. And I felt that pain. She made me crazy. I made her dead. I guess that makes us even. But from beyond the grave, she was haunting me. It was making me a little more unstable then usual, and I was thinking of letting her out onto the world. The written word had never had much appeal to me, but if that was what it was going to take to get her out, then by God, I was going to try. Anything to get her out. Anything. Let me spell that out. A. N. Y. T. H. I. N. G.
